The sickening situation at Wigan Athletic has taken another horrific turn with the majority of non-playing staff being made redundant.

The playing staff remains unaffected, with a crucial clash against Queens Park Rangers to prepare for on Wednesday night.

But off the field, the club's loyal and hard-working staff - many of whom have been there for years - have been left to pay the price for administration.

Those affected have already begin to react on social media.
