Person trapped after three-car smash
A MAN was trapped in their car after a three-car smash on a busy Wigan road.
Emergency services were called to Frog Lane at 10.45am this morning (Thursday) following reports three cars - a Ford Focus, Citroen C3 and a Citroen C4 - had collided.
A man was trapped in one of the cars but managed to get himself out before fire crews attended.
One other person was treated for shock.
Police and ambulance crews were also on the scene.
The incident caused traffic queues along Frog Lane.
