Wigan Mayor Coun Brian Jarvis was 'wheelie pleased' to pick up a cheque for his charity, Wigan and Leigh Hospice, for £760 from James Noakes, travel plan co-ordinator for the Wigan Sustainable Transport Partnership group, helped by auxiliary nurse Sandra Crook and student occupational therapist Charlotte Billington. The money was raised through sposorship of participants in the Ride For Health from Haigh Hall
