A man who assaulted his mother has been spared jail.
Damian Fallows, 33, of Maple Grove, Beech Hill, appeared before Wigan magistrates to admit attacking Gillian Fallows.
The bench gave him a 12-month prison sentence but suspended it for 12 months.
He must also receive alcohol treatment, complete 25 days of rehabilitation activities and pay the court £122 towards victim services.
