Man in court over knife and amphetamine possession

Paul Roberts, 46, of Hooton Lane, Leigh, appeared before a Bolton judge to admit to being concerned with supplying and possession with intent to supply the class B drug, but denied having it for himself and being armed with a blade.

He was released on bail and will be sentenced for the other drug offences after the trial.
