A Leigh man has admitted handling a stolen fridge-freezer.

Wigan justices heard Paul Ogden, 54, of Plank Lane, Leigh, had the appliance on September 12 2018. He had denied taking part in a break-in at Kermishaw Nook, Astley, six days earlier in which the fridge and a couch were taken and this charge was dismissed. He must pay a fine, costs and victim services surcharge totalling £235.
