A thug racially abused and attacked a police officer.
Michael Pendlebury, 48, of Etherstone Street, Leigh, appeared before Wigan justices to admit assaulting Jubrul Khan and issuing racially-aggravated threats.
He was fined £300, ordered to pay his victim £100 and must pay costs and a victim surcharge, the final total coming to £575. He will carry out 40 hours’ unpaid work and 10 days of rehabilitation activities.
